Child care 30 hrs, request information urgently plz

I have received rejection for 30hrs childcare application, I will mention my details below.

I have recently received ILR
My kid is UK born 4 years old, he is still on tier 2 visa as well my partner.
I and my wife both are working and earning (within 30hrs limits earnings)

Can you ease suggest or help me why the decision is refused.

What did the refusal letter state exactly?

Thanks for your reply, they mentioned "from the evidence we hold we have decided that you don't have recourse to public funds"

Perhaps due to your child not holding ILR or British citizenship and both the child and your spouse not having recourse to public funds.

Thanks for your reply. I read on the website says "you will not be eligible if you are from outside EEA and your card says you cannot access public funds. Your partner can apply instead of they are from outside EEA and their UK residence card says they can access public funds.

So do I need to wait untill my kid get British citizen registration and then apply?
