What happens during a biometrics appointment?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask what happens during a biometrics appointment other than taking fingerprints?? My mum needs to get hers done but her English isn't super amazing, so I was wondering if it's best to get an interpreter there or not? She already got are ILR years ago so I would imagine it should be a quick appointment right?

Enrolling biometrics doesn't actually entails any interview rather a simple identity check and the biometrics enrolment which hardly takes few minutes provided all of the requirements have been uploaded earlier. You might escort with her to the centre.
