Dependent visa absence query

Post by venky55555 » Thu Apr 08, 2021 12:42 pm

Hello,

I have query about my wife dependent visa query for ILR
My wife got an extension after jan 2018
So she wants to go to India from august 2021 to feb 2022

150 days in 2021 year and 60 days in 2022

So that means she is not staying in India 180 days in a year

Is she okay to stay in India for that many days

It is not absence per calendar year for PBS dependents. It is 180 days in ANY 12 months on a visa issued after 1q January 2018.

PBS dependents CANNOT split their absence into two difference 12knths periods.

So that means she can not stay in India more than 180 days
Is it doesn’t matter in a year or in two years right ??
