About English Language Test for Citizenship

Good afternoon to all users of this forum. I was looking for an answer to my question before writing the topic, but I did not find a clear answer. And I hope that you can help me with my question.

I am a citizen of the European Union and moved to the UK on 22/oct/2015. I have been permanently residing in the UK since this date and on 01/sep/2020 I received a Settlement Status (4 years and 10 months since moving to the UK). According to the website Gov.uk I can apply for citizenship 12 months after receiving the Settle Status. My question is, do I have the right to apply for citizenship on 02/sep/2021 based on my 12-month settled status or do I need to wait for 22/oct/2021 to do this?

You can apply on 02/sep/2021 - 12 months after receiving Settled Status.

I'm planning to apply for citizenship in the coming days, but my IELTS test expires in mid-December 2021. As I have heard, the application is currently being considered within 6 months. Could this be a reason for the authorities to refuse me to grant citizenship basing on my soon-to-expire IELTS test?

I will be very grateful for your help.

No issue as long as it is valid when you apply.
