Note that the COA stamp does not actually state that the holder is a British citizen. It only states that the holder has the right of abode in the UK. That is why it is acceptable in countries like India and Malaysia, which does not allow their citizens to hold foreign passports.
A German immigration officer would assess the child's right to enter the Schengen Zone based on the *passport* they carry. So, the question is not whether the child is a British citizen or not, but whether a Pakistani passport holder can enter the Schengen zone visa-free or not.
