Spouse Visa Family declaration form

Hello,
We applied for the uk spouse visa from outside the UK but I have been reading in this forum that a family declaration letter is needed signed by the spouse. We were never asked for this document in our checklist or at any point in the application. The applicant did tick boxes in the declaration section of the application form.
Is the family declaration form mandatory as we have already submitted so a bit worried.

Can i also ask, i have paid for the application on the 7th of sep and included 6 months payslips from march till august and have managed to get biometrics on the 1st of October. Will i need to give them sep payslips and bank statements?

No. The date of application relevant to your supporting documents is the date you submit and pay online.
