20/10/2022: Email received from VFS Global advising passport as been dispatched via courier on 20.10.2022 & to await contact from courier
21/10/2022: Call received from courier that passport has been received in local office & we can either come to collect or they will deliver
2210/2022: Wife collected Passport from courier depot

115 working days from Biodata being submitted to received passport in hand

Visa / Vignette granted as advised above, allowed 90 days to enter UK & then to collect BRP within 10 days of UK arrival or before visa expires (whichever is later)

Application for spouse visa = standard initially but then on 09 Jan home office said if we want to do a priority visa took £610.87 but still waiting decision
Online application = 30/09/2022 by a useless lawyer who misguided in IELST test
Biometric = 20/10/2022 - mirpur appoint no Lahore appointments available
Priority started 16/01/2023 ended 06/02/2023 (15 working days priority)
Asked for IELTS for UKVI we provided A1 skills test on 2nd of Feb, still waiting for decision

14/02/2024: Finally gave up waiting and went to VFS Islamabad. Passort was there. Excuse: "sorry we had lost your contact details"..... bla bla bla, any ways

90 days Entry clearance granted.. Alhamdulillah.

UK Settlement Family Visa for my partner as follows:

Type: Priority Spouse Visa (reason for priority visa, ideally would like my partner in the UK during the summer school break - or at least for some of it, otherwise the cost for a priority application is a little steep to be fair, given the already high costs for the Visa Fee & IHS & use of Mirpur Location etc - but fingers crossed InShaAllah).
