Hi Need to apply for Tier 1 Visa urgently and all my document are completed except for i have a confusion for Maintaince funds.
I am currently in UK on Tier 2 (ICT) Visa and my bank account opened here in UK on 5th May 2010...By this way my 3 months will complete on 5th Aug for showing maintainence funds in my UK account.
But before coming here I had money in my India account. Can I show that in for showing my maintainence funds apart from showing the money here also. What I mean is that from April to 5th May I can show money in India account and after that from 5th May till date of applying here in UK, I can show money in my UK bank account.
If yes, do I need to show 800£ equivalent money from April2010 to 5Th may 2010 in my India account or I still need to shoe 2800£ during that period from my India account.
Please NOTE I am currently in UK and will be applying from UK itself. This is urgent for me so a response would be deeply appreciated.

You can use different accounts in order to prove maintenance funds that includes your indian account.

My personal opinion is that you cannot break 3 months period between two different banks

You can do that as long as you have enough funds in the bank account i.e. either individual or combined sum.
