urgently required replies on this :(

Post by quadophile » Mon Aug 16, 2010 9:04 am

Iam applying for Tier-4 General. My Bank statement was 30 days mature on 1st
august and i have taken 3 orginal bank statements from bank on 9th august but on
11 august for some reasons i have withdrawn all money from my account and
deposited whole same amount on 12th of august as of 9th august.

My question is,in this scenario my statement is still valid to apply for tier4
general?

Kind Regards,

MAK

I am confused here completely.Just tell me you have to submit 28 days bank statement and from what date to date you are given statement.Like from 1 Aug to 30 Aug.

I would not speculate unless I have full dates and detail.

The guy is saying he drew out all his dosh for 2/3 days for some unknown reason and put it back - hence 2/3 days under the maintenance requirements.

Even if one day it's still an epic fail...

ok you quote that ur statement was 30 days mature on 1st august and u got statement on 9th august which was covering 30 days upto 1st august ???? right ??? if so then send the bank statement as the bank statement does not show the transaction on 11 august and on the other hand you have submitted the money again. so best of luck and apply.

Agree with accastudent. If your '30 day mature' chees.. er statement had the required funds, transactions later than the day the statement was drawn shouldn't matter.

Well its a tough call
Normally it is advise that the money should not be with drawn because its a matter of 15 - 20 days
The reason it is said is because what if someone from the high commission calls and says
" i am xyz from " British high commission and we wanted to vary ABC's account
then Bank chap asks for A/c Number and then says that the balance is Rs 1313/- only
Then its a clear reject as the money has been taken out !!!

So if someone has taken the money out he should hope and pray that HC doesn't check the account balance !!

How office office can do that in just 28 days statement?

You are asking for a miracle.

Doesn't sound plausible to me.
* Banks won't disclose balances to all and sundry who call and claim they are from the high commission!
* If they do have a 'higher' level of access to the banks, then they can also confirm that funds were withdrawn AFTER the 28 day period got over. Remember UK BA only requires you to maintain the funds for atleast 28 days, anything above that is upto you.

I submitted my case on 18th.....now i can just hope for the best :) but same scenario is with my friend and he is gonna submit his case on 23....he took his statement on 17th in which he asked the bank to give statement between 23rd june to 10th august, before that 11th august transaction, the bank provided him the statement with issuance date 17th august..with 2 transactions between 23 to 30 june ....ending balance with above required amount on the issuance date, without mentioning the period of the statement......what u guys think of that? can u guys explain what verfication checks ukba performs on bank statements?
