transer of visa on new passport

my spouse visa will expire on 2012 jan and my passport will expire on june2011,i will apply for new passport,do i have to transfer my spouse visa on new passport,what date i apply for ilr thanks

Apply for a new passport at before applying for ILR. Submit both old and new passports for the ILR application.

No need to transfer spouse visa from old passport to new passport.

Hi Vinny,

My wife just renewed her passport and we also updated her family name.

We are due ILR in four months, should we get her name updated in banks and bills?
