Tier 1 (PSW) processing times

thanks hearing from u is a relief.
u gave biometrics on 3rd august.

and got brp that sounds good.

applied for student visa extension : oct 2011
application sent back as invalid (due to incomplete form)
then fresh application was refused: (went for appeal
judge allowed the appeal feb 2012
again ukba appealed against the decision: mar 2012
judge again gave the decision in my favour:

meanwhile i applied psw as my degree finished
ukba writes a letter asking for passport for previous application
solicitor replies
bio invitation: aug 2012
given biometrics : 3rd aug 2012
and now recieved biometrics cad of previous application (tier 4)

any advice on what should i do?

Hello Guys,
I have applied on the 5th april with a letter from LSM that i have completed my course and passed. I just receive the actual result. do i need to send the original????

Applied on 5th April
Ack Letter on 25 june
Brp done on 29 july

guys any one got reply who gave biometrics in august or end of july

yeah i gave bio on 27th july i guess and still waiting ...
whenever i call they ask me to wait more..
i do not know when would this finish....

yes, thats the reason I didn't call them.. I know what would be their answer... Some of my fellows received PSW but majority of them are still waiting like me... Hopefully everything would be ok... As UKBA now mentioned on their website that PSW pending application will be sorted out till December..

So hope for the best...

i read that but few months ago they wrote about end of summer .. now see it has been extended till december...
approximately how many people u know have been waiting still??? cux all my frnds got their months ago...

Don't worry everything will be ok soon... In my batch there were about 100-120 students.. Amongst them about 30 have got their PSW (including degree completion letter by UNI and result awaiting letter by COLLEGE)... So hopefully we'll get the PSW before the end of December

anyways .. i have one question my passport got expired while it was with ukba..

i m a pakistani national and intend to fly within the 28 day period they have allowed me to stay....

what is the procedure of getting this renewed or is there any form of travel document i can get temporarily to fly back home?

Ohhh...thats so sad... Why not you go for appeal? I've heard that many students went for appeal after refusal of their visas and won...

I have no idea about any temproraily travel document although before applying for PSW I renewed my Passport from Pakistan High Commission in Knightsbridge. That time it took about 10 Working days (URGENT) for renewel but now they have mentioned on their website that Urgent process will take 3 weeks. Here's the link of that site..

The reason i am going back....

1] the immigration rules are getting strict now... even if i waste my 6 months over appeal procedure but what am i gonna do after 2 years..

2] its really hard to get a relevant career related job here the market is very hostile ... i spent a lot of money on my education... i don't want to waste my time working £6 an hour...

3] This country has taught me a vv big lesson .. the authorities are not liable for anything they do....

4] i guess my country would welcome me with open hands... inshaAllah.. atleast i woun have these issues here..

I was also on discretionary leave but UKBA give me right of right of appeal. And on the date of hearing the UKBA withdrawn the appeal. Now I'm just waiting for letter from Tribunal.
