Can anyone answer my query or let me know if this is not the correct section of the forum to post this query:

We are on Tier1 visa and our child is born last year in UK. Got the child's Indian passport and didn't get UK visa due to huge turnaround times. We are planning to go to India in August and want to apply Tier1 dependent visa for my child from India.

We are due ILR this year in November and hope i need not apply for my child's ILR with us and can directly apply for British passport after we get the ILR?

Is my above statement true?
