Re: ILR Eligibility - Need Advice

No, you cannot use the initial submission date as that is irrelevant. Your qualifying period starts from the first visa approval date only. You have less than 5 years on your visa as the visa was issued until the end date of the COS. You and your dependants need an extension to cover up the shortfal...

Re: Priority / Super priority service - Child & parents

To secure ILR under private life rules for such a child, it should be proven that it is unreasonable to expect the child to leave the UK. However, the case law has shown that when neither parent has independent right to remain in the UK , this requirement often cannot be met: Most notably, a child w...

Re: ILR application Set (O) - question on absences

Thank you so much Zimba for such a quick response. With reasons, I was referring to the reason section where you fill in your absences with which country/which dates and reason. What would be the best to describe that longer period? You do not need to provide any detailed reasons. Holiday/visit is ...

Also while I told you above that no documents are specified to be provided, it is good to provide some evidence that your child is still dependent on you for support, whatever you have to prove they are not leading an independent life

Re: 10 year Long residence..break in continuous residence

That guide covers ALL the immigration routes and what you quoted does NOT apply to the long residence when you leave the UK with valid leave !!! What you quoted is true for OTHER immigration routes (the long residence is the exception) I showed you where you must look. This is why that example clear...

Re: ILR dependants few days short of 5 years.

1. I have not seen specific documents that are needed.

2. Only the current BRP is needed for ANY application. This is also true for you and ALL applicants. Old BRPs have no value.

3. The consent form should be signed by the applicant
