Hi I just received my RCoS and waiting for biometric appointment at the embassy. I'm trying to understand the next steps after the appointment, does anyone know the details? Once I get a visa and enter the UK do I have to wait for a specific document / residency card when I am there? Or can I exit a...

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

Congratulations!!! Finally, I am positing what I wanted to post here for the last 8 months: RCoS granted, 50 points, non-sol, non-nhs, non-phd, non-milkround! I have been stuck since December, and last 8 months have been most miserable 8 months of my life. There were lot of times when I was shattere...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

If the new changes in tier 2 visa rules aren’t taking immediate effect then probably scores will stay same as last month I talked with my employer. She told me: "From experience the longer it takes the less likely we are to get one but don't take that as definite... " As we have people waiting with ...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

Wow I really hope your prediction is true. Do you have a link for the data from RTI act? Couldn’t find it Hi, Many articles(one listed below) mentions NHS claim of 2300 doctors being refused visa from Nov to May. As per the data shared through the RTI act the total number of visas that were refused ...

Sending best wishes for good luck this month. I didn’t apply this month (41) cause RMLT expired but we are re-doing it and hopefully applying again in June based on how things go this month. Hoping for the best!

Re: Visa rejected 4 times

Howdy there. I’m currently in the process of obtaining a visa through my employer who is sorting out the process. But in short, it has been rejected 4 ties since November last year. The only information I’ve been given is that there is a backlog of applicants and they are filling quota every month ...

New Home Secretary

Hello everyone Any speculations on what might change with the new home secretary? What does it mean for the oversubscribed tier 2 visa quota? And any thoughts on how soon things might change? Hi,
I have 70 points in total:
RLMT - 30
Salary - 20
English -10
Maintenance - 10

I got RCoS assigned in March and I applied for visa in April(submitted on April 6th,2018). I have applied on priority but still awaiting decision. Any clues?

Thanks,
Raj,
What are the English / maintenance points?

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

I'm thinking of writing to the labour party website where you can submit your questions to Corbyn to be asked on the Wednesday question time to Theresa May. If a few of us write to them, with the current momentum on the faulty immigration legacy of TM, it might hit the spot. Has to well worded, str...

I'm on 41 points and my RMLT just expired. I still really want to move to the UK but after applying 5 times my employer is tempted to give up on the whole thing. However I'm trying to convince them to re-run the market test and apply again in June. Do you think there is hope for 41 to go through in ...
