Re: How to successfully apply for EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit for parents-in-law

Hello,

Has anything changed with this route since the 30th of June? (EUSS FP for non-EU parents-in-law).

I read one comment earlier that dependency is no longer assumed?

PS - wife has pre-settled status.

Thanks

Re: Parents in law EEA Family permit

Would this immigration path work for the non-EU in-laws of an EU sponsor living in England? Or it's a special case for Irish sponsor?

Re: Entering UK on EU passport, already naturalised

A photocopy of the naturalisation certificate or UK passport surely would be enough evidence if accompanied by EU passport?

Entering UK on EU passport, already naturalised

I naturalised last year and I have both my British and EU passports. Going to travel next month, and I don't want to take unnecessary documentation with me in case it gets stolen or damaged etc. Being a British citizen, will I be able to re-enter the UK using my EU passport? This wasn't the passport...

Re: Visa for USA under dual citizenship

When you apply for a US visa, you need to declare all your citizenships.

What if one's using the Visa Waiver Programme?

Excuse my off topic response, but Poland doesn't allow dual citizenship, how can you be a dual citizen? Just curious

Pre-Settled Status Documents after EEA FP

My non-EU wife came over to the UK with an EUSS FP in July.
Next step will be applying for Pre-Settled Status - What are documents required?
Can you please point me to threads discussing this issue?

Re: Travel with Residence Card - Success Stories

My story is not about residence card but travel with EUSS Family Permit. After my wife got her EUSSFP she flew over to UK to join me right away, like directly from TLS Contact to the airport. Our flight to Greece was scheduled to depart in 36 hours so this was literally the last minute. As we didn't...

Residence Card application after Pre-Settled Status?

Hello, My wife is a non-EEA national who joined me in the UK under EUSS Family Permit. We're thinking to apply for her Pre-Settled Status now because of the Brexit uncertainty. However the Residence Card would allow her to join my travels in Europe without a visa. Is it possible to apply also for a ...

Re: Lounes, Pre-settled status, and continued exercise of treaty rights

Noob question and not exaclty answer to your query about Lounes cases, but can't the spouse just apply for British Citizenship through naturaisation by being married to a (now) British citizen and having lived in the country for at least 3 years?

Re: Which way to go:apply for Surinder Singh route (Surinder Singh) in the Uk or from out of the Uk

I mean does the non-EEA spouse have an EU Residence card? What you'd get at the border is an EEA Dependent Ink Stamp ("Code 1A stamp") if you're travelling together and have the relevant documents with you to prove your marriage. The stamp is valid for one entry, and from the insde the non-EEA spous...

I did a quick google out of boredom and this website says Surinder Singh will continue to work till 2020, with some changes to the application process (applicants need to apply via paper form). https://www.ein.org.uk/blog/family-members-british-citizens-surinder-singh-route-after-brexit https://www....

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Ron34 , as the close family member of an EEA national the EEA Family Permit should also work in your case. As Brexit has not happened yet therefore EU laws still apply. Good luck and keep us updated. you’re a ‘ close ’ or ‘extended’ family member of an EEA or Swiss national (excluding UK nationals)...

We attempted this route but the airline refused us to board the plane. I read on this forum that people have more luck using the Eurostar Paris - London train.

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

My wife had two rejections even though we submitted a lot of papers. Third time we used an immigration lawyer and got positive response in under a week (not 15 working days like everyone said it would take). Would suggest everyone to get a lawyer for peace of mind. So what did you do differently th...
