Referees

Hi, 3 questions: 1) if I nominate two of my work colleagues (both British) to be me referees would it be ok in terms "they are not related to each other" if they work for the same company/department as me? 2) do they have to be managers or can be team leads or just specialists? I work for IT Consult...

English language requirement with old IELTS

I am aware there were a few topics about the same already but what makes it different is this: 1) I want you to post here the confirmation that you obtained a citizenship using old IELTS (beyond its validity, i.e. more than 2 years old) as a proof of metting English language requirement. Do we have ...

Hi all, I'm a New Zealander – it feels like a setup for the UKBA guy to jump up and say "aha! you don't love the UK enough!" if I am honest. Only in your head, mate, haha! No, seriously you'll be lucky if they check your absences let alone this little section. I'd bet even if you put a list of esco...

Here's my experience posted just a few days ago before yours: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=128674 My only luck was I arrived 1,5 hours earlier in the morning and got my case approved BEFORE their biometric system collapsed. So just to assure everyone: it's not a one-off failure, ...

ILR success PEO Croydon 08.03.2013

Where do I start? Perhaps from something positive: Thanks to wpilr_nov12 , uksettlement and especially cs95tdg for all help they provided by answering my silly questions on this forum. Your patience and tact are really appreciated. Now to the story. Before I go into details I want to state the main ...

Perhaps a silly question but...

...where do you get the small plastic bags/envelops for your photos?

The application says they should be attached to the right of the applicant's details page and that they should be placed into these transparent small packages. But where do I get these?

Sorry, I have got nothing to contribute to the essence of the issue however I am intrigued by how to treat situations like this. What I mean is: as someone said here you can NOT appeal the decision (for whatever reason but that's their law). So how exactly can anyone be protected from slippages and ...

SET(O) form Section 9 A5&A6 - Earnings claimed

I am confused by earnings claimed requirement. Is it before or after tax? If it's before tax I would not be able to back it up by bank statements as they all show net payouts. If it is after the tax then I would not score enough points as specified in A6 (points based calculator). HOW to fill in bot...

Supporting docs (original + copies)

Hey guys,

How do you organise them? How caseworkers prefer to have them?

- All originals lumped in one big folder and copies separate
or
- Every original should go along with a copy (paper clip)

Cheers.
