Re: DX "Arrange a delivery" card and Post Office Card

Thanks CR001. I just arranged for re-delivery now. Will check out Post Office tomorrow. DX will be re-delivered on Monday.

DX "Arrange a delivery" card and Post Office Card

Hello, I applied for ILR back in December via variation. I just came back to the house now to find two cards: one from DX and the other from Post Office. I think it is possible the DX is from the Home Office, as they are the only ones that use the service that I know. At the risk of sounding despera...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Hi Nzekells, Appreciate your suggestion but the problem I have is the requirements of the entrepreneur extension. Although i'm running my business and doing I would say not bad, it would be nearly impossible to show that I've meet all the requirements e.g. invest £50k, x2 job creation due to some s...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Why not apply for t1Ent extension. That is the natural and expected next step. There is little chance they decline it within a month (just the biometrics takes a few weeks), then vary to ILR +1. Though options like going for FLR(FP) exist, one month is really a short time. It will take 15 working d...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Thanks very much for the prompt reply. I promise this will be my last question re this topic- I've just read on this forum that applying for FLR just to buy some time (1 month in my case) to quality for ILR is frowned upon by the HO and also could result in ILR application being refused! Given this...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Thanks a lot Nzekells. I have another question on the back of your answer- when I vary my FLR to an ILR application, what would be my wife's status (as you said I can't include her as a dependant on my ILR application)? In other words, what are the options for the people on dependant visas when the...

Re: Dependant's status while I'm applying for ILR (t1 ent ro

Hi gurus My T1 entrepreneur visa is due to end in 15th December 2017. I will be eligible for ILR application in 15th February 2018 (10 years). I have this 2 months gap between my current visa expiry date and the ILR eligible date as stated above. Now even if I apply 28 days before the completion of...

Re: Another Biometric Enrolment after Variation?

I recently varied my application and will be going for my PEO appointment in 2 weeks. I received a biometric letter for my initial(FLR) application and have been told that I'll have to retake biometric again when I go to my appointment. So I'm guessing you would also have to do another biometric as...

Another Biometric Enrolment after Variation?

Please help clarify, good people. I and my dependant wife varied our FLR(FP) application to ILR(LR) and FLR(FP) Main applicant, respectively. She just got a letter to go for another bio enrolment, despite the fact we already done one on the initial undecided application. I had thought variation does...

Re: 10 Year Residence

Thank you for the reply. My current visa (Tier 1 Entrepreneur) is expiring on 13 Jan 2017. So should I apply for Tier 1 Extension or ILR and Home Office will give grace period of 2 days? I would advise NOT to take the second option risk. You can apply for an extension of your T1E and vary after ur ...

Re: SET O Questions on Finger Prints

Hello,
You just need to pick one of the instances of giving ur biometric fingerprints. In this case, u can use the UK date for 2nd T2 visa. But if u can't remember it, go with the home country date (which u are likely to remember). 10.15 as you list refers to this last instance.

Re: 10 years long residence applications

omi123, Quite a complex one you have here at first glance. But a closer look on the first case shows a bit of straightforwardness. Beyond the need for a crack team of lawyers (which I assure you does not help many a times) is the paramount need that you present a story that is sure to tog on the hum...

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Dear all, I'll be appreciated if anyone could come step forward who had experienced as mine situation. I first entered in the UK on 14/09/2016 and extended visa several times as a student. Hence, my 10 year anniversary will be on 14/10/2016. Anyways, my tier-2 visa was refused on 05/08/2016 and the...

Variation Letter and Dependant application

Compliments! I qualify to make an application on SET(LR) minus 28 days on 1/12/16 (actually in 8 days time). Currently, I and my Dependant wife are awaiting an FLR(FP) application decision. I assume I would have to send in another FLR(FP) application in which she is the main applicant, as SET(LR) do...

Re: ILR SET(O) application refused and unsuccessful

Sorry to see you in this position, Bala. I can understand you need to move very fast. My advice is: look beyond this forum. Ask real people, or check other fora. Reason is as you have less than 30 posts, you can't send or recieve private messages. And forum rules also mean lawyer contacts cannot be ...

Re: Advise Needed please

Do you work, and earn up to that? If yes, I believe you can show the money in your own account as both of you are already resident in the UK. You will be fine anyway as I don't see the need yet for that earning. When your FLR FP becomes successful (ur case is 99.9% likely to succeed), they would sti...

FLR(FP) to FLR(FP)??

Hi good people, please chip in. I applied for FLR(FP) with my dependant wife. I will hopefully be varying it to SET(LR) on December 1. Regarding my wife, do we (if undecided yet): 1) On Dec 1, send a letter to the HO requesting they keep my dependant wife's application on hold pending outcome of my ...

Re: Parents Visa Refused three times

Noajthan's question is significant. If there has been previous deception or misrep, then you'd need to clear that first before proceeding with normal application. I reckon that's best done thru an appeal and probably represented by a solicitor, if you like. This still does guarantee anything. Re pro...

First form is FLR(FP), and second, SET(LR). Letter? You mean 'Variation letter' for the ILR?

Re: Main applicant now on ILR, before WP, dependants on WP

Hi Mohibbi, here's my take. But still sample other opinions. AS ur wife is completing 10 years in Feb 2017, it is clearly worth waiting it out. CR001 is correct about entry refusals for non FLR(M) 'dependants'. Feb is around the corner. Re child naturalisation, I would think you can immediately proc...

Re: FLR (FP) Application in 2 weeks

Again, is it right to have read that the NHS Surcharge would be refunded when I vary to ILR LR? Yes fee and IHS would be refunded when you will vary to ILR. Okay...that means I will pay the full £1,875 at the point of ILR LR. Would that however class as variation? Given I am not just topping up the...
