Re: Difference between UKVCAS CORE CENTRE vs SERVICE POINT?

Thanks for the quick response tier11417. I had the idea that the appointment for the 24 hrs service was more or less of an interview (to check documents, scan what is necessary/check what you scanned, ask questions like immigration officers do every time we arrive in the UK). Do you think if I uploa...

Difference between UKVCAS CORE CENTRE vs SERVICE POINT?

Let me start by thanking everyone for the great help this forum provides. :) I have just submitted my application and about to book my appointment (Set (o) Tier 2 G to IRL). What is the main difference between the 6 Core Centers and the Service Points (libraries) for Super Premium Priority Service? ...

Re: 5 years about to complete but HMRC does not have my record!

Hi sikishah, Sorry to bring this post from the dead, but I am in the same situation: about to apply for IRL and national insurance records missing (but pension is showing in the website). Called HRMC and they said to send a letter, but to expect a delay in answer (up to October). :? Did your company...

Re: Tier 2 extension change of requirements/rules

I found this in the guidance: 22 When you assign a CoS to extend a migrant’s leave in the same tier and category, the start date on the CoS should be the day after their current leave expires but the migrant cannot apply for leave more than 3 months before that date. The current work situation: * CO...

Tier 2 extension change of requirements/rules

Hello all, This is supposed to be a quick question for experts. Did we have any major changes between 2016 and now to extend a Tier 2 General visa? I am helping my HR for someone else's extension and lately I have not been very active in the Tier 2 visa forum because I am about to get my IRL (so all...

Company's threat with IRL renew

Hello, I have been brought to the UK by my company a few years ago under Tier 2 General. Now, it's time to proceed with the IRL and they are forcing me to sign a documment saying I can't leave before 3 years. Is this legal? Don't get me wrong...I am not ungrateful, but that binds me to the company a...

Re: Unlawful Boarding denial by Ryaniar ( Compensation)

Hello Maruchita56, Fellow south American passport holder here. I am Brazilian and every time I used Ryanair they asked for this check. It's literally just a stamp in your ticket from someone that has seen your visa/BRP. Basically they do a pre-check immigration status on you before allowing you into...

For everyone with priority, contact them again telling you sent your documments and you never received the biometri letter. I received just one day before my end date and it was a nightmare. Re: Time to receive Bio-metric Details Submission Letter

Hi,

It's exactly as cherrypie said...calling them doesn't is useless.

Some people posted their timeline and said it took exactly 40 working days, so it looks like they are counting and leaving the decision to the last day.

Tier 2 Extension - Biometric letter not received

Dear all, I've submitted my Tier 2 extension last Thursday 13/10/16 and changed to priority straight away in the next day (14/10). So, the priority request service said my deadline would be 27/10! The problem is: I have not received the biometric letter yet and I saw the timeline of some people that...

URGENT HELP WITH EXTENSION - Tier 2

Hello all, So, I am due to renew my Tier 2 Visa and we (HR and me) ended up in a dangerous corner. The original visa is: Tier 2 (General - New hires - restricted), so I believe the extension should be again restricted right? This is what we are not 100% sure. The person responsible for the VISA said...
