Re: Pre-Settlement refused. New document: old submission or new submission?

How exactly did you start a new submission? You should now be able to use the app for that now that you have a card... (this might or might not help, but worth to try). The Family Permit is a vignette in the passport. But of course. Silly me. I also tried to send a “paid email”, but I’m not sure if...

Re: Marriage in India and settlement in UK after

We have been in a relationship since 2018, after we started to stay in the same accommodation since we were students. However we don't have a 2 year cohabitation period, only around a year or so, plus we stayed together during trips to London. Please keep in mind the wording I used. Durable partner...

Re: change brc issued under eea to eu settlement

I just waited until Jun2021 to apply for settled status. When I got the settled outcome letter last October it says: "If you do not currently hold a valid biometric residence card, you should receive your biometric residence card within 10 working days of the date of this letter. More information i...

Re: change brc issued under eea to eu settlement

Hi I have a question I got my pre-settled status on 23Mar2019. My EU BCR was still valid until Jul2021 so I didn't get a new card and wasn't aware I could change it to a UK residence card. Just to clarify, EEA Residence Cards, or EU BRC as you call it, is what the Home Office referred to as "UK res...

Do I need to submit my biometrics again or can they reuse my fingerprints and photo from my Presettled Status card?
As fas as I know this depends on each applicant. The application system will tell you if you need to redo biometrics or not.

Re: Adult education funding- eligibility for Non EU family members with presettled status

While EU family members who have been resident in a EU country (for 3 Years) are allowed to have access to free or subsidised adult education courses, the same rules don't apply to NON EU family members. According to that document, whilst the case of family members is treated in a different paragra...

if only entry clearance is needed for airlines, why tourist visa is not an option ? You have to pay for that. Whilst Travel Permit and Family Permit are Free. Also, the regulation keeps changing, and I remember in the past you could not apply to the EU Settlement Scheme if on a visitor visa. I thin...

My question is would this type of relationship be a straight up refusal when applying for the EUSS family permit? First, a couple of questions: 1. When did you get married? 2. Are you married legally, as recognised by the UK? (for example, islamic marriage isn't recognized in the UK, and many membe...

What if using the new card but it’s not updated to your status Can't say for sure as that's exactly the opposite of my case. My wild guess is that there will be no issue, since you will be presenting a physical valid card issued under the EU Settlement Scheme to start with. I believe the need to li...
