But for intra-EEA travel we don't get stamps on entry or exit.

Re: Naturlization 6 Speeding Points SP 30

You can still apply but explain (page 22 AN form) the circumstances, keep it as simple as possible. Also obtain from the DVLA website a report on your licence points and include with your application.

Re: Need 5 years proof of residency: passport only 3 years o

I've been here for ages, but I can't seem to find my old passport. The guides suggest that a letter from my current employer would do. What exactly should it say? Does anyone have a sample/template? Does this actually work? thanks I am happy to share my employer letter which I submitted to cover em...

Re: Citizenship application - evidence of 10 years of NI?

The 10-year requirement is specific to BC application so there's little we can do about it.... The reason why you can supply employers' letters is that by confirming they employed you for the period in question they have also confirmed compliance with employment regulation, including deducting tax a...

Re: Unable to produce my driving licence for life in the UK

Practical approach would be to include your Passport and explain the facts on page 22 of the form, especially what happened to the licence, did you loose it, returned to DVLA, etc. If you are going NCS (recommended) it might be worth querying this when you book an appointment.

I'd be amazed if you get a decision by end of October or mid-November. Maybe you should consider postponing/changing your travel plans. BC is important, that's why we are on here.

The latest version of the AN_Booklet has an updated section regarding EEA applicants, with detailed sections on EEA8 and EEA2 WRS:

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... r_2016.pdf

I would start here.

@avva78
You are free to use another NCS office, but perhaps it's better you ask in the general forum first to point you in the right direction, i.e. dates etc.

I remember a previous post about filling in the form with a specific Adobe application - the form itself is not an online version.

Re: Absences from the UK

OP's link pointed to the EEA PR application, presumably aiming at BC in due course.
Now's the time to think ahead and keep records of travels going forward which then makes filling in the form AN requirement a doddle.

I got the book because I was curious and like reading. All questions are based on the book so I would recommend th...

Re: UK NARIC and CFA

I am no insider but I assume anyone can publish guides for the test.
My approach was to just read the HMSO book and do the free tests until I could answer 24 questions in five minutes at pass level. Gave the book away after the test - took me three minutes on the day.

Re: UK NARIC and CFA

thanks. did you actually submit the form with CIMA as evidence of language and got rejected? The topic is covered in an FAQ on here - not sure what the link is. I went to NCS with my letter from CIMA. As the lady hadn't seen one before she called the HO to confirm whether it's acceptable - they sai...

I think the timeline updates are a better indication as to when we can expect our applications to be approved - I see application being approved around now from early to mid-July.

Re: UK NARIC and CFA

From my own experience professional qualifications are not accepted - I have sat CIMA (Management Accounting) exams (16 hand-written papers in English!) and similar to CFA rated as a degree but no luck. CIMA provided me with a letter referring to NARIC's assessment of the qualification. "Cut my loss...

Take a copy of your application form for your records retention - NCS only copy the supporting docs.

Re: Passport fee deducted but not Naturalisation fee

This is now with the HO - I think you just need to wait for them to take the money from your account, shouldn't take six months. Bio letter will come once the payment is processed. Passport Office was quicker in this case. Once NCS sends off the application they are no longer involved.

Re: When can I apply after obtaining EEA(PR)

Do not send naturalisation application until you can actually apply - there is no queuing or holding system and HO will reject. Using NCS is recommended as they are able to double-check your documents. As for the actual date PR was achieved you can apply for a SAR.
