I am in the same situation. I applied in may 2017 and 4 months ago I got a letter asking for my original documents once again. I sent it and they still have it, no further answer so far. All together it'd been 17 months await.

Leter from INIS about Stamp 4

Hey guys. I applied for a stamp 4 based on my married to an Irish National 13 months ago (I am an asylum seeker). Today I got a letter asking for some documents (that we had already sent) to be sent within 21 days in order to finalize my process. Is that a good sign?

Re: Ireland spouse visa processing time Pakistan

This makes me disgusted by this system. I will never give up, if they refuse I appeal and appeal and appeal, let's see who endures longer, I'm not letting them win

Re: Tired of waiting for stamp 4

All I want is to be able to work in this country so I contribute to it as I am already living here, is that too much to ask? :(

Tired of waiting for stamp 4

I have been waiting for a stamp 4 now for 12 months. I have been in Ireland for three years , live with my Irish family for more than a year now , married to an Irish citizen, perfect criminal record... What else is needed to live in this country? Go to the minister and knee behind him/her begging?

Re: Stamp 2 within the State

You don't need a student visa, use your temporary stamp 4. I am waiting for a stamp 4 based on marriage to an Irish citizen therefore I have no visa at all at the moment and I still managed to enroll in university

Re: Stamp 2 within the State

Regardless of ur stamp 4 being approved u won't be able to pay European fees in most colleges as u have to have held the stamp 4 for three years minimum for that to be possible. If you can find a college that takes u with European fees, great, if not, I'd suggest that you take a part time course bec...
