I have to agree...if you have a job already where you are now , please dont resign that job and come over here. life is very difficult here than in your home country... People say many positive comments, it may not suit your/my situation... i myself had lots of dreams about moving abroad , moved her...

very sad to hear that. there are some stupid people out there , advertising themselves as "solicitor" or immigration specialist"... i have seen 1 or 2 on gumtree websites....they dont have a clue..what they are talking.... anyway...you cant file a case aginst them becuase of your immigration issue.....

I thought, you could apply when you reach 4 years + 10 months.
I have seen in the past few years ago,when it was 4 yr period for ILR, that people had applied 3yr + 10 months.

The HO might have given you a new wp, which means your 5 year clock would have been reset. sorry i am not too expert in this.

did your old employer who did they issue the WP for inform the HO that your employment ended ? you had mentioned problem. well, i have the same issue , when i left the employer1, i got job in 28 days but when my employer2 applied for change of employment, they said , it was more than 28 days and ask...
