Re: NHS old charges impact visit entry in uk immigration border

Canadian passport holders can use the E-gates and not even interact with Border Force officials, unless her Canadian passport is placed on a blocked list or the passport RFID chip is not working. I read in one of the NHS guidances, that the Home Office is advised of the NHS debt and they use the ad...

Re: Baby Born in UK Parent Indian Passport Skilled visa (PBS) British Citizen ?

Our baby is born in UK and we have Indian Passport and are on PBS visa. We do not have ILR yet still 3 more years to go. Be aware that free NHS for the baby will end after 3 months, or sooner if the baby exits the UK. The 3 months is to allow the parents to get a visa for the baby and and pay the I...

Re: ILR Set M 5 Years Route UC Benefit

Hi My understanding was that if the tenancy agreement and council tax bill is in my husband’s name only, which in our case is, then I should be fine! Where in the article did it say that for Council Tax Reduction? From the link given- Finally, council tax reduction (CTR) can be claimed with UC, but...

Re: Register children born outside UK for citizenship

Now that my daughter is turning 18 years old, will this have any impact on her application? Turning 18? Or do you mean she has turned 18? In the link to your previous thread, on 23 April 2022 you stated your daughter was 17 year 4 months. That would mean she became age 18 at the end of last year.

I’ve started up a thread months ago about this subject and was kindly informed by members of the forum that it’s ok for my husband to receive UC and council tax reduction only on his name ... You were not told it was ok to receive Council Tax Reduction. You were given a link to this, which advised ...

Commons debate on No Recourse to Public Funds - 11th May 2023 Note that it was a Back-Bench Business motion sponsored by a Labour MP, so it is unlikely to lead to a change in the law. I believe divorce is separate to financial agreement. So you can get divorced and decide on assets etc after. You can if you both agree to that, but you pay may have to pay tax on it. Are you sure you paid the IHS for each of your three children; when their visas were only valid for 5 months?? The OP would have applied for a 2.5 year visa for each child, so yes IHS would have been payable as that is what was applied for. The fact that the visa granted was issued based on the OPs...

The UK expects both parents to keep their child, even if they don't want to see that child. The courts take a dim view if they don't pay.

The maintenance calculation is the minimum they have to pay. Many parents choose to pay more than that minimum amount.
