Re: Delays in Spouse Visa application.

Hi Everyone I'm a little concerned. My wife from Canada who's applied to the UK for spouse visa had her bio metrics appointment on 25th Feb 2020 and she still hasn't received a response from the homeoffice. She is suppose to arrive here by end of June. I know this could highly be down due to COVID-...

Re: Email from TLS - Application on hold

I tried to reply before but not sure it went through. My husband and I applied for his spouse visa on 11th March (biometrics that day too) by priority. We received the above email + application not straight forward within 1 min of each other on same day in April When the lockdown eased in UK a coupl...

Re: Spouse visa delay

Have you heard anything from Homeoffice regarding your application. I was wondering if it is being processed now since lockdown ease. Not yet. They told us there were extended checks to be performed in an email we received last week. But haven’t confirmed anything beyond that. I’ve asked what such ...

Student visa extension and spouse visa

His sister lives with her husband in Canada. And she’s saying that she’s not able to return for the wedding. Her husband is on a stude...

Re: Spouse visa delay

The priority service does not include courier service, if that is what you mean. Courier service is extra, clearly stated on the website. https://www.vfsglobal.co.uk/in/en/premium-services/priority-visa-for-settlement To be clear - we have paid for courier service. But really just trying to underst...

Re: Spouse visa delay

It is only sent by courier if you purchased the courier service. If not purchased, passports are collected when ready from the visa application centre. We’ve done the priority service and included the courier service in this. So yes, courier is paid for. Does the VAC (ie VFS India) courier this bac...

Re: Spouse visa delay

Thanks for your response and am aware of the delays, wasn’t challenging this. I just wanted to understand what the process is and where the VACs fit in because this wasn’t clear to me from all the research I’d been doing. We have paid for priority service so I thought that this wouldn’t go back to t...

Spouse visa delay

Hi - my husband is also waiting for his spouse visa at the moment. His application was done in India and biometrics submitted on 16th March. Change of address for courier for passport in India

Hi

This question is for anyone who has made a UK spouse visa application from India.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to change the address to which the courier is delivering the passport? If so, how to go about doing this?

Thanks in advance

Re: Spouse visa application in India and corona

UPDATE: Received 2 emails today from Home Office within 1 minute of each other. I’m hoping that the ‘application not straight forward’ email is purely because of this Covid situation and not because there’s any issues. Has anyone else received such emails? 1st Email: Thank you for applying for a UK ...

Re: UK spouse visa English Lang requirements

When we’re completing the online form, it’s forcing us to tick a box each to indicate that we will submit a NARIC certificate and English language test results. This is why we have assumed we must do both. If we tick both boxes (to move on to the next page of the application), do we still only provi...
