Re: Spouse visa Application

Thank you Korekt. These documents should be within 28 days, right? Yes My understanding is that the financial documents submitted should be (dated) within the 28 days BEFORE the date of submission of the application though, not 28 days after submission. They can be uploaded after, but should have b...

Re: FLR M refused - do I face deportation?

The 10 year partner route is FLR FP not FLR M. But surely, this person doesn't have leave to remain (at all), as he/she entered on a visit visa. So how can he/she apply for " Further Leave to Remain? Shouldn't the next step be to apply for initial entry under an acceptable category? Had it not been...

Re: FLR M refused - do I face deportation?

@arjay thanks for your reply. I would appreciate if you have a look at this; https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for-uk-visa-applicants-and-temporary-uk-residents#if-youre-in-the-uk “ If you decide to stay in the UK, you should apply for the necessary leave to remain in the UK. ...

Re: FLR M refused - do I face deportation?

My understanding is that leave to remain (as in initial leave to remain) can only be applied for from outside the UK.

For example, my friend who was in the UK on a visit visa had to return to Thailand in order to apply for a spouse visa. They would not allow her to apply from within the UK.

Regret to say that you have to leave and apply from abroad as flights to France are perfectly working.
Yes, as said above, surely if you came to the UK on a visit visa then you have no right to stay on and must leave. Any other (type of) visa must then be applied for from outside the UK.

Re: Bringing none dependant family to the uk.

Are you British?? Presumably you are and your wife is on a spouse visa?? If yes, then no chance or visa as a dependent on you or your wife. The UK immigration does work like this supporting whole family chain migration. They would have to find a visa they qualify for in their own right. CR001, Did ...

Re: FLR application made under wrong category?

Someone I know has made what should have been a FLR(M) application, but upon submission, the "Payment Successful" confirmation shows in one place: "Private Life Route" and in another place as "Family Route". They are married and she is at the 2.5 year point on a spouse visa, applying for the second...

Re: ILR application and home fee status

I am not knowledgeable on this, but when my dependant daughter was applying to college, I recollect that the criteria (re home or overseas fees status) was based on how many years she had been living in the UK (as opposed to her actual visa status). I would suggest checking the criteria with your so...

I'm a bit puzzled as to why the applicant would go to India when her existing visa/BRP was close to expiring. I wouldn't want to take any chances on my return getting delayed for any reason.

It is the consent declaration form which is part of the online form set m, towards the end of the application.
Does it need to be printed and scanned as I did with the spouse declaration form ?
Yes, printed, then signed, then scanned and uploaded.
