Hi guys I applied for FOI on Friday and I got ref number today ..and it takes 4 to 5 weeks ..and they say they might refuse my FOI record request .. Why they may refuse the request? It says in the email that if I don't hear anything back from them in 4-6 weeks that's mean my request for FOI record ...

I applied in 2018 September and still waiting . With covid no chance this year .. I feel sorry for the people who applied in 2016 and 2017 and still waiting not fare with them ..5 years on citizenship application is long time which shows department has no intention to process these applications..

Bad idea. It's a general assumption that applications from people who are married to Irish citizens processed faster than others.
