InUkOnHsmp - yes I have the same question! Did they rush the form or not think it through? Or do they really expect us to write the IELTS again?

My interpretation is that you meet the requirement and don't need to show any evidence http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/britishcitizenship/kol-uk "...For example, someone who demonstrated a knowledge of English equivalent to B1 level when applying for entry clearance will not ...

Thank you for the update Amber. Good luck Pqek. Agree it is ridiculous to release the form on the day you need to start using it. I've decided to delay our application with two weeks to give me time to download new form and see what happens with new rules. Also planning to apply at Edinburgh NCS. Do...

New Language requirement - HSMP/Tier 1

I will apply for Naturalisation in November. Am I right to assume that when I applied for my HSMP visa (now Tier 1) in 2007 and passed the IELTS test that I

"demonstrated a knowledge of English equivalent to B1 level when applying for entry clearance"

And somewhere for my husband to give information about passing a language test like IELTS in the past two years. We can provide this information in the ...

Is the current AN form really the final form for after 28 October applications?

I can't see how it can work. There is nowhere to provide information about meeting the new language requirement despite previously passing the KOL test for settlement.

Confused :?

Does my husband meet 5 year

Taking a cheeky chance here as I suspect the answer is no but thought I'll check just in case. My husband was in the UK from August 2007 to August 2009 on a working holiday and then returned in May 2010 as my Tier 1 Dependant. We have indefinite leave to remain and can apply for naturalisation end o...

shanthrajrk My understanding from reading on this forum about other people's experience is that Glasgow will look at any case as long as the previous earnings is based on salary payments only. They will ignore any dividend payments etc. If your salary is enough to meet the points based requirement t...

yes exactly 28 days, weekends included

I would saying going with employment only and keeping it simple is best if you are applying in person.

I have an appointment at Glasgow next month for ILR. I'm not self employed at the moment but was for the first 2 years of my 5 years. I'm hoping this will not be a problem for Glasgow PEO? Thank you all for your responses. The bank is giving me a letter now to say that I had the cash funds available for 3 months. I tried to get this from them before but it was a struggle. Hi Wanderer The credit card is in a positive balance. So say the bank gave me £500 credit on the card. But instead of buying on the card, I deposited or transferred a £1000 on to the card without ever spending any money on it. The £1000 is my money I deposited on it. It is not in a negative balan...
