Re: British Citizenship after ILR - Gap

Dear All, I am aware that a person gets his citizenship after 12 months after obtaining ILR, and he should not be out of UK for more than 90 days. If a person is not in UK for more than 90 days after ILR, does he need to wait for another 1 year or does his ILR gets invalid and has to again wait for...

it doesnt matter what it was referring to: either "uk public or worldwide"...
the point is, if you do this activity in the UK, it is classed as work. Also, note the word "including", this suggests that doing work in the UK is not allowed regardless of "uk public or worldwide"...

For the ILR to be valid you should be coming back to the UK at least once in 2 years. This applies to individuals and does not matter that their family member is in UK during that period. So if your wife is out of the UK for more than 2 years then she will loose her ILR though you are in UK during ...

If your ILR application is rejected, you can still apply to extend your Tier 1 visa if you meet the criteria.

There's not much you can do now. Just gather all the evidence you can.

You will need to show progression from your past studies. Given that your past studies was a degree level course, it would have to be something higher than that.

If I were you, I would do the post graduate.

ps. dont't spam the board with multiple threads.

it might take shorter, who knows? But the main reason why your case is "complicated" is because now that there is a black mark on your UK immigration history, (assuming you haven't been banned), the entry clearance officer will have to consider very carefully if you are indeed entering the UK for th...
