Re: PR for Non-EEA family member

Glad I to help. Applying for PR isn't necessary, it only just help to ensure or confirm that he is a qualified person. Hence, you don't have to provide any P60 or statement of income other than the PR card when applying for your PR confirmation. Since your husband has not obtained a PR card then you...

Re: PR for Non-EEA family member

Normally these benefits shouldn't affect your application. You have qualified for PR since January 2015. Provided your husband is a qualified person. Has your husband obtain PR yet? I will advice you to send your application asap. It doesn't matter if you didn't work, so long your EEA spouse continu...

EEA Application Fee Challenge

Hello People,

Just wondering if anyone has tried to challenge ukba's eea applications fee or is everyone applying so far happy with it, considering that It has perhaps made ho's services worse in regards to hiccups with payments, double charges etc.

Are there any formal challenges yet?

Maybe I was not clear... My husband is not his father and my son is only 4 years as an EEU dependent and 3 years as a student dependent. Can he still have permission to stay in the UK? Also, there is another legal part , because there are adults not related to our family who is influencing my son o...

Surprised not only to see ho's reasonably fast response but also very clear and detailed information. You are fine to take 2 to 3 months holiday. Just register for jsa as advised above and if you find out that it's taking time to get a job before the 6 months mark switch to self sufficient by gettin...

Re: Traveling to Scotland

I do not see any trouble brewing your way. There's no border as it's the same country. All you need is an ID. You don't need a visa to visit Scotland.

Just make sure your spouse is in the country, just in case they may want to verify your status in the unlikely event you are stopped and questioned.

Re: PR lost after 12 months absence

It is my believe that you will have to start the clock again re-applying for rc, once pr is lost. If one can simply re-apply for pr then it's never lost and it defeat the purpose of the 2 years rule. I don't know what your circumstances are but I am baffled as to how or why you have allowed the pr s...

Re: Advise on moving to Sweden with my Swedish partner

Why don't you secure a pr here based on you and your wife's 7 years residence in uk? Was she working through the last 7 years? If no, how long has she been working in the last 7 years? You may already qualify for pr and you may want to consider obtaining that before joining your family in Sweden sho...

I though I should bring up this matter again. Should Scotland vote in favour of independence, they will officially become independent on 24 March 2016 according to the 'white paper'. I hope and pray we're all are alive and well beyond this date by which I would have qualified for pr just a couple of...

I do not intend to discourage you or cause any confusion but my concern for you is exiting France without a visa or your wife.

Once on UK border, you should be fine as your wife is in the country.

By writing a letter to TLS, you probably waived any right to fee refund. That was most likely the point of the letter. You say it was not damaged on submission, in which case how did it get damaged? They said its damaged, tomorrow i am gonna visit TLS and collect the passport in person. When i logg...
