I tried both GP and health visitor both have declined on signing the form. Not sure what should i do then. And what was the reason? Honestly i do not understand why they would decline! simple my friend, ur clock starts from 06/10/2006, means ur 5 yrs will end on 05/10/2011 and it also means that u can apply only 28 days before 05/10/2011...hope this clears to u now.. Thanks. I assume that if i move companies, I will have to re-apply for a Work permit, Work permits does not exists anymore and have been replaced by PBS visas. So if you apply for new employment then the prospective employer will have to get your visa or you can apply for Tier 1 general on your own.

If your wife has her own work permit then i doubt whether she will be qualified to apply as your dependent when it comes to ILR. Also if she apply as dependent then co-habitation needs to be proved.

another option is go through your passport and note down all the stamps and country they are from. use excel to accumulate this info and then sort on date.. you will get datewise report of stamps from your passport.
