Re: make another busines

A food franchise is a very legitimate business. I have heard anecdotally that HO is being more limiting during initial visas on small restaurants i.e. you have to have a stronger BP. But this has no bearing to extension. Be very careful when hiring your mother. HO is aware of "wink wink" hiriing of ...

yes, and they are very important to the company. one of them is the cofounder of the company, he did a lot of work to the company but never got paid for his hard work. There is nothing in the immigration rules that says shareholders cannot be employees for purpose of job creation. They also don't a...

Yes you can. However as you joined the company, anyone who leave must be replaced so that the net increase in the jobs remains 2 or more at all times.
As OP is a t1e visa holder his employment in the company has no bearing on job creation

Just pointing out that you can apply for ILR as T1e in 1year and 3 months (or less depending on when you applied for extension at 3 years or 3year and 4 months)

So Dec to Nov and April to Mar will be exactly 12 months for both employees which will be enough for 2 Full Time jobs ????
There is nothing in the immigration rules that disallows you from having job/employees for more than the absolute minimum.

Re: tier 1 entrepreneur (applying for new visa) is nhs free?

Dialysis is a few hours 2-3 times per week and nothing stops you from running a productive business. You are also not asked about your health in the application. There is nothing in the immigration laws defining what active and involved is. As far as we know (as the OP did not give details in this t...

If you cannot apply for ILR, you can apply for 2nd extension of T1e. Make sure you have the maintenance and jobs like first extension

Re: Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visas invest in Current UK limited company

No reason a VC would not invest before the visa application Do VCs tend to invest into existing businesses? (VCs in the context of t1e £50K investments) I have no idea. But more importantly how many VCs are interested in a 50k investment oppportunity ? In my world the legal and due diligence bill f...

You came to this forum seeking advice. It is your call if to adhere to that advice. You clearly cannot be paid as an intern (if you are caught your visa could and should be revoked) and it is not clear to me how the salon would legally allow you to work there without giving you employment rights. Professional courses and advancement is very much part of entrepreneurship. Going to college and internships is not

Why not business A pay the salon for "training services"?

Suggest you share a bit more detail on you and husbands visa history. But as far as I understand, from experience, a UK born child does not need a visa while "staying" in the UK.

Did you extend your t1e or went to ILR(LR) before that?

I will just state that in case you don't win the hearing you still can apply based on 5 years T1e if you extended and if not, it gets complicated but you may be able to extend (and go to ILR in 2019).

Re: Request for visa status and care arrangement for my child

I am not sure t1e is the best place for this message, I am sure the strong team of moderators will know if to move it. You do not need a visa for a child born in UK unless you plan to travel (and come back....) . If any parent is ILR you can ask for citizenship for the child. I would guess if UKVI i...

Re: After Extension Approval--what is the requirement for ILR?

In addition to two 12 months jobs (differentiated if you are pre or post Apr 14) for ILR there is the absence limits and life in UK test. You do not need to prove investment or english again, you do not need maintenance and genuineness is definitely still a criteria (which they seem to be taking mor...

Re: Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visas invest in Current UK limited company

Quite a few people try to interpret this as an easy way to get into T1E with 50 K. The 200K route has an exactly similar wording. The point is that you cannot read this sentence in isolation. The paragraph starts with the fact that a condition to T1E visa is "access to funds, whether 50K or 200K". ...

At least in UK, you would hardly get any interest by keeping money in UK bank. Interest rates are bad...
But good for us entrepreneurs 1. when we need debt capital not expensive 2. investors need to invest in us as not making any returns from interest

Just be careful there is no concern by CW that you are doing an intentional circular investment back to yourself and that you are doing a proporti...
