life in the UK for settlement, by applying on or after 28 October 2013, you do not have to

Re: English language exemption, ILR after Oct 2013?

No, the above does not 'prove' Evidence of knowledge of Language and of Life in the UK, it proves you have ILR. True, however It will also prove the date of approval is after Oct 2013. isn't it? You need to submit LIUK test certificate again agreed and English B1. Confused. I don't have an up-to da...

Self employed applicants proof of income

Hi guys,

In the AN guide, on page 16, it says

SELF-EMPLOYED APPLICANTS
If you do not pay tax through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) arrangements, we require
• The most recent HM Revenue & Customs Self Assessment Statement of
Account

Does this means SA302? or does it means something else?

Thanks

IMHO, it all depends upon your contract with your landlord. If your contract says that your landlord will pay the council tax then you have nothing to worry about.

Re: Over stayed

This is not how it works.

how it works is, form the date of application, you absences from UK should not exceed 90/100 days in last 12 months.
So e.g. you are applying on 1 Jan 2016. The calculation will be From 1 Jan 2016 to 1 Jan 2015, you should not be out of country for more than 90/100 days.
