Re: letter from employer required for Tier 1 General !!!

Thats interesting, no evidence of absences has been asked before if leaves were less than 180/year, did you submit a self-letter listing all your leaves in the past 5 years?

Re: ILR Docs ... SET(O) + Photocopies OR Originals?

In most cases you won't even be able to see the case worker so better to submit all originals & photocopies together, your originals will be returned, also photocopy the entire bank statement instead of doing a piecemeal job, you should submit copies of all originals submitted with the application

Re: ILR - Set O Tier 1 - Questions on Filling the form

FPNs should not be an issue & no need to declare it, the only letter from employer that is required (if you are in employment at the time of application) is a letter confirming you as an employee with the designation and start date, as I said before absence letter from employer is not required from ...

Re: Absences - time off in lieu??

Just put everything as Holiday or Annual Leave, doesn't matter if its lieu time or annual holiday, no need to make it super complicated, if absences are under the threshold then CW won't even look twice

Re: Request For your help: ILR Application: Can I go for it.

More than 6 months outside UK (unless compassionate) breaks continuous residence, also you have gone way over the limit of 540 absences in 10 years

HO can check any records including tax history

Re: ILR rejected due to tax issue

FYI, Declaration does not mean "consent to share" and "doubts" is basically on evidences you submit!!. So yes, they reject if they have doubts - and do not check other department records as they are legally not allowed to do so. Understood? Really? you think you can totally comprehend how UKBA work...

Re: ILR rejected due to tax issue

UKBA cannot access that information from HMRC records, hence you have to take the original proof with you on the day. Read the declaration part of the application form again, the question whether UKBA and HMRC computers are linked or not is irrelevant UKBA can access any info they want about the ap...

No employer letter for absences is required if they are below 180/year, get it if you can else its fine but create a self-letter listing all absences to submit with the application

Re: Advisor has lost all documents

You need to file a police complaint asap, there is something fishy with the "advisor" too, how can someone lose all your documents? did their house go up in flames? Filing a complaint will put pressure on that advisor and also support your application, no need to re-appear for LITUK test again, the ...

Re: 7.11 How long have you lived in the UK

7.11 is asking about "How long have you lived in UK" in very clear and unambiguous words, so it will include time spent in other leave categories as well 6.1 is asking about the ILR qualifying period so common sense says no point in repeating the same info again Fact that you got your ILR means CWs ...

HO considers the 5 year period just before the application so it all comes down to when you apply, if you don't qualify for ILR then consider applying for an extension

Re: ILR - Tax return issue

In my personal view , it is not a tax evasion or tax avoidance and it is therefore not a criminal offence . You can pay your tax with fine and clear your account . Having said that I do not think that any case worker will grant you a visa but you may have to go to the tribunal. If you present your ...
