Re: Relatively long Schengen Visa?

Hello You can apply for France. Most of the time they give a 6-month visa which can cover bother of your trips. I am an EEA national. When my wife applies for a visa to go to my EEA country, she gets automatically 1 year. But other than that, the usual visa has 6 months but I have seen them deliver...

Re: UK citizen pregnant with US citizen's baby

So I came to the states to visit my boyfriend on a 3 month waiver visa. Whilst out here I have found out I am pregnant with his baby. We are certain we want to stay together as we love each other very much and we are very excited about the baby but also stressed after reading all the complications ...

Re: European Asylum seeker to USA

I'm just an asylum seeker. It means he as 1 or 2 asylum applications going on in Cyprus. We can summarize: he is illegally in Cyprus. In any case, I don't think the US Embassy in Cyprus would be excited to deliver a US visa to this applicant. Going back home and applying from there could be a good ...

Re: Non EU Spouse Visa

Aah ok thanks Thank you so much CR001 Would it be easy to apply for spouse visa in France as a UK national for a non eu spouse? I think after Brexit - both of you will be non EU/EEA citizens and hence you will have to prove that you can live with and support your spouse and/or dependant plus any ot...

Re: EU Dependant Schengen Visa (Czech Embassy)

What if she has applied for a normal tourist visa? Looks like France is the only country which grants lengthy span of Schengen visas? If she had applied for a tourist visa (not under the free movement of EU/EEA member) she would have gotten a longer one though Czech Republic is not known to grant a...

Re: Overstay in Germany- questions about repercussions

Hi, I am not sure if you resolved your issue but here is what I will advise: Resolve this issue first before applying for the family visa. If they ask to pay a fine just do it and close the case. Technically you can apply now, yet it is safe to wait for the issue to be finalized. Up to now she is no...

Re: Non Eu National out of Germany for more than a year.

PS: The embassy didnt give me any official letter. I mailed them after I returned back home, and they replied immediately. Hope the frankfurt passport control will not disregard the mail. Print the email and show the authorities ONLY when they ask about it, assuming they tell you the card is having...

Re: Non Eu National out of Germany for more than a year.

I understand the conundrum that you are facing. You have already tried to follow the precise path yet the embassy declined to issue you a visa. You have asked the relevant authorities and they seem clueless as to what might happen. The law is also obscure in your case but I suppose there is a provis...

Re: Non Eu National out of Germany for more than a year.

I am an Indian and have a residence card(aufenhaltstitel) for Germany which is valid until 2020 but I have been out of Germany for more than an year. I was told that your residence card gets invalid once you leave Germany for more than 180 days or once you de-register. So I went to the German Embas...

Re: British Citizen Moving to sweden

Am a British citizen who want to move to Sweden or Ireland. How easy to get the EU Residence card from both countries. I will like to know which of the country is easier to register. Based on freedom of movement in EU/EEA you do not need a residence card. You already have a 'right of residence' sim...

Re: Schengen visa application - French

Hi!

Nothing to worry. Usually if the required documents are in order, it takes about three days. If there is some verification needed or any other check is required it might take long but 15 working days seems to be the limit for most cases.

Hope this helps.

We applied for form 5005 'eu family reunification' in February 2019. This was accepted and confirmed by a letter from the IND in April 2019. We were told on th...

After that, I'll be coming back with her to Berlin (which is where we will live) and I'm applying for the res...
