As far as i know reconsideration will only be under the original application made, so no need documents / evidence can be supplied.
They have done you a favour and given you an extension. Now the only thing you can do is get the right documents and make another ILR application under 5 year route.

Can you check the validity date on the ILE sticker, if you got a new passport because your old one expired the ILE viginette would have expired too - hence making it not valid!
