Re: MN1 Online form help

I can't find what your or your spouse's nationality is in any of your previous posts. Useful to state this information if asking for advice. Apologies missed that out completely.. Nationality is Indian and is the one associated with our ILR in UK, we gave up our USA citizenship 10 years ago. My und...

Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED :HO Decison - Change from 5 year to 10 year partner route while A2 certificate missing

Btw the BRP has to be extended every 5 years and you need to pay for it... so i dont understand why you are worried about spending money every few years for ILR granted under SET(LR). Especially when you can apply for a passport after 5+1 years of residency in UK. Why do you state a BRP is valid fo...

Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED :HO Decison - Change from 5 year to 10 year partner route while A2 certificate missing

There is no obligation for them to accept new documents after you submit the application. If you read the rules the case work can apply "discretion" and they do not have to come back and ask you for missing documents. The return document service says you might have to cancel your application if you ...

MN1 Online form help

This seems related to my case so continuing here, (1) parents have ILR (after Tier 2 General) (2) the child (under 18) has no passport except a UK Birth Certificate proving the place of birth as UK What do they answer on the MN1 form for "Nationality details" and "Country of nationality" do they cho...

As far as i know reconsideration will only be under the original application made, so no need documents / evidence can be supplied.

They have done you a favour and given you an extension. Now the only thing you can do is get the right documents and make another ILR application under 5 year route.

Hi all, After 2 weeks of waiting (10 working days) after applying through the Super Priority Route I finally got a decision and my ILR is approved. I am under the Tier 2 General route with 5 years of stay. I did some detailed analysis of hundreds of post's on this forum and it looks like most (Super...

Oops no ILR for you for 24 months from date of conviction.
If that takes you over the 6 years max period on tier 2 general visa then you should make alternate plans outside UK.

Sorry about his, I know how hard it must be...

Re: ILR, other reasons to stay!

Thanks for your reply. No it isn't via the refugee route. It is via the 10 years long residence Tier 4 then Tier 2. For the past almost 10 years I have built a career in the UK and made a living so indeed my life is centred here. I of course respect the religious or irreligious choices of all peopl...

Did you use fraud and know the test center would give you the result without needing to sit the exam? If so tough luck you should not get ILR unfortunately... Is there any leniancy towards fraud, not in this country. If you were deceived and did not know that you were getting it through fraud explai...

Can I have a direct answer to this please? I read that the visa is valid a...

Re: ILR, other reasons to stay!

Depends what route you are applying under, if under refugee status I would say so.
But if any other route I hope the real reason you want to stay here is because it is the center of your life.

Re: Entering the UK with my ILE visa in my expired passport

Can you check the validity date on the ILE sticker, if you got a new passport because your old one expired the ILE viginette would have expired too - hence making it not valid! You can only use the visa in old passport as long as it is still valid. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/entry-cl...

UKVCAS Super Priority route - Information on decision timelines for applicants

Hello all, So I called UKVI today (not UKVCAS) and enquired on what might have caused the delay in me hearing back on my application status despite 48 hours passing. The official answer is that Home Office (would) have taken a decision within 24 hours of submitting the application but it can take up...

Confused why you need to explain the illness differently unless it affects your pay or absence limit out of UK.

Just take an absence letter for all 150 days and that should be it.
