Re: Naturalisation Questionnaire Form from HO

If you have sent them required proof that you were in the UK legally all the time then you can't do much except to wait now. Did they mention in their letter that by what date they need the questionnaire back?

Re: Proof of continuous residence - US doesn't always stamp passport

You would need some sort of proof in that case, they may well or may not choose to ignore discrepancy in your passport stamps. You surely would have something like bank statement, utility bills or pay slips etc if indeed, you were present in the UK during the period when your passport was not stamped.

Re: EU & Brexit Deal

You can the. Carry on keeping this PR and it should be no no problem. UK will most likely change your PR into something like ILR in the future so it’s all good.

Re: Windrush Generation Citizenship applications

Apparently, a dedicated team is looking into the old cases where this has happened and they will make this right. Personally, I don’t believe this is as big issue as being presented in the media.

Windrush Generation Citizenship applications

Better late than never.

"In a statement to Parliament, Ms Rudd she also suggested the citizenship offer would apply not just to the families of Caribbean migrants who came to the UK between 1948 and 1973 but anyone from other Commonwealth nations who settled in the UK over the same period."

Re: relationship evidence nearly there please help

Are you aware that just one set of bank statement covering just few months is not what they would expect you to prove your relation? You would need to provide more documents.

I think it’s Director of VAT registered company & not Manager. Double check. Director can be a manager but not necessarily in all cases.

Re: PND and application for citizenship

Penalty notices for disorders (PND's) issued by Police should not result in a refusal. According to this, it is not a record able offence.

If I were you, I wouldn't do the same job for £10,000 less in my pocket. I would just move on specially when I am not restricted by terms of Tier 2,3,4,5,6 or what ever.

Re: i m widow for a British citizen

Sorry to know about the death of your wife, I think you can only make an application under 6(1) which is proving 5 years residency. You will also need to be present in the UK 5 years ago on the date of your application.

I would say the processing time is pretty much same these days but I would still go with applying for passport saperately, through post office check and send or even online.

Re: VFS Italy appointment booked with incorrect visa category

I don't think this is a big issue, staff will look at your documentation & treat your application as a spouse of EU national. You will probable only pay the processing fee & not the visa fee.

Re: applying citizenship by post

Should be fine. You do realise that your passport and BRP will be kept by HO for as long as they take to process and decide your application. Why don't you apply through NCS so you can keep all your original documents? I'd recommend Nationality document return service than NCS. It easily will take ...

As CR001 said, you can take a chance. I used doctor as a personal reference & a company director as a professional.
