Bank statement for Tier 1 Graduate

Post by particularshrimp » Sun Jan 13, 2019 2:07 pm

Does anyone know how to prepare for bank statement for this visa? In home office's guidance document it says "you must provide evidence of personal savings that ends no more than 31 days before the date of application"

What do they mean by "the date of application"? Does that mean after you submitted the finished application online? In this case, does that mean you need to have the statement ready in less than 31 days before you made the application online? And you cannot do that after?

Or does "the date of application" actually mean when you book an appointment with them to submit your material?

Well,I am quite lost right now :( Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The date of application for an online application is the date it is submitted using the online process.

Less that 31 days means any date between 31 days before date of application and the date of application. So, if you are applying on 1st of Feb, a statement issue on any day in January will work.

Natwest bank statement for application outside UK

Post by particularshrimp » Fri Jan 18, 2019 6:39 pm

Hello there,

I got my 3 month statement from Natwest. I got the statement within UK, it is printed inside the bank on normal A4 papers, with a header containing information e.g. bank location and my account info on every page. I spoke to Natwest, they refused to give me a supporting letter. They only stamped on every page. I did not go to the branch where I opened my account. Also, there is no Natwest in my home country. :(

Therefore, would this statement be considered as valid financial evidence if I apply outside UK? Any suggestion is welcome!

Thanks for the help!

Since it is stamped on every page, it would be acceptable
