Hi Amit,

Well i think it means that your case is with a ECO and is a WIP (Work in Progress). You should get a result soon (a week max two).

All The Best.

Amit

Took 5 Weeks ,Result -ve

Post by tassim » Fri Oct 17, 2008 6:23 pm

Applied :06/09/08 HYD VFS for self and 2 dependents.
Processed:16/10/08 PP Delivered,EC Rejected for
Integra complete:06/11/08 Got a call on my Desk asking if I worked at company X .Though No contact was made to HR either or phone or Email .
No info on Bank verifications of 2 online attested statements I submitted.
No info on University BE Degree check but its listed on their online NARIC** DB .

REJECTION REASON:
"No bank letter confirming authenticity of the bank statement,therefore does not meet requirement of published guidance."

I had submitted Internet statements for two banks duly stamped and signed by Bank with contact phone and email details.The banks refused to issue separate letters confirming authenticity or details of maintenance funds for 90Day period.I know some people have managed to get these letters but thats after exceptional efforts .

-Why should the Bank issue a letter and check the 90Day GBP minimum maintenance criteria.,this is India not UK ?
-The candidate will need to go and show them OANDA GBP->INR conversion rate details for that 90Day period.Unless the Bank manager is your brother-in-law :)
-What are the applicants paying Integra for then ,they don't even want to
verify and check those statement pages ;this is unfair 1800GBP flushed down the toilet!!

Applying Admin review which I know has have 0.1% success rate. Though no extra documents can be submitted I now intend to submit 2 Bank letters mentioning they don't issue separate letters confirming authenticity
and the sealed+signed Internet statements are authetic or confirm details of 90Day maintenance funds .

Lots of luck and best wishes to all applicants .

Hi Tassim

Its sad to learn that your EC result was negative. I understand banks do not provide maintainence letters easily...It took 7-8 days of continuous running for me to get the letter and finally bank did mention that I have maintained 2,25,000 Rs in my bank account since last 3 months. Its not necessary to show your funds in GBP, convert the 2800 GBP or minimum required amount to INR and its acceptable....Dont worry everything will be all right...

All the best for admin review

Hi Tassim,
pretty sad to hear that, and i am losing my confidence in my application too now. This is unfair, and there is no statement in the guidance where it says that u have to submit a letter from the bank. It asks for any of the three proofs, either a letter, or a passbook or bank statements which have to be duly signed and stamped. there is no AND here. And u submitted the attested statements, which should have sufficed. This is a real sad news, bank statements stamped and sealed is enough, and they themselves have written this in their guidance document. All the best for admin review, make a good case/admin letter explaining and quoting their own statements from the guidance....
i wish u success.
All the best.

Its pretty scary to see such rejectionsEDITED TO REMOVE, give me the opinion that they are rejecting for any reason. But my friends, exceptional efforts to get bank letter are worth compared to repenting later.

The reason for rejection is correct:
Personal bank or building society statements covering the three-month period immediately before the application
The personal bank or building society statements should clearly show:
your name;
the account number;
the date of the statement;
the financial institution's name and logo;
transactions covering the three-month period;
that there is enough funds present in the account; and
that there has been enough money present in the account for the past three months.
If you wish to send electronic bank statements from an online account these must contain all of the details listed above. In addition, you will need to send a supporting letter from your bank, on company headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements sent.

I suggest you all friends to never apply along with dependents in the first go. It is hard-earned money going waste if main applicant is rejected. Once your main application is approved, you can apply for your dependents.

It is definitely unfair to take our money we gave for dependent application if the main application is rejected. There should be a clause we can reuse that money (600 pounds each, com'n not silly game). This is day robbery in my opinion. Rules has to change!
Best regards,
Mani

Very Sad to listen that your EC has been rejected...
Yes you are correct...looks like Integra people didn't do their job properly. They didn't call even your HR... which atleast happens usually with everybody.
Anyway wish you good luck for the admin review.
Seems to be a lesson to everybody ... do provide more than the minimum sufficient documents given in the Guidelines.

Could anyone provide the telephone no where we can confirm the status of our application? Do we have to call the vfs help desk or should we directly speak to the respective Brithish Consulate?

Thanks
