Dear All,
I have got tier 2 offer and my sponsor has issued a COS without paying IMMIGRATION SURCHARGE. We are confused whether I need to pay ISC. My situation as below:
-My previous TIER 2 visa was curtailed on 16/03/2018 and have an outstanding application with UKVI. I will defer that application by new TIER 2 application. As my previous cos was issued without paying IHS and my understanding is I don't need to pay IHS now;
Please advise on immigration rules and will be appreciated.

Hi there,
I did not paid NHS health surcharge when i applied for Tier2 visa in Jan 2015.
I applier for new Tier2 visa (change of employer) this month. Future employer paid for 3 year's NHS health surcharge i.e. £600. Future COS is for 3 year.

Do not confuse the two separate fee issues. There is the ISC - which is the Immigration SKILS Charge which employers pay and the IHS which is the Immigration Health Surcharge which the applicant pays.

Hi,
It really depends when your initial Tier 2 leave was granted,
ISC applies to a Tier 2 worker assigned a COS on or after 6 April 2017 in the Tier 2 (General) or Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer) routes
however
If your initial Tier 2 (General) leave was granted( COS generated) before 6 April 2017 and now you are getting a COS so you can apply from inside the UK to switch your employment to a different sponsor or to extend your Tier 2 stay, or then you are exempted from ISC.

Apologies for not getting your whole point. My Tier 2 visa was assigned before 6 April 2017 in the Tier 2 (General) routes. Switching employer this month. New employer didn't paid ISC.

Does employer need to pay for Immigration Skill charge when creating UCoS? please clarify?
