Kids Tier 4 Dependent switch from Tier 2

Post by Raviteja440 » Sat Jun 06, 2020 9:29 am

Hi,

I am currently living in uk as Tier 2 ICT dependent. i am applying for Tier 4 Visa for my PG Course , for this Sep2020 intake.
After i got the Tier 4 visa, i am planning to apply for my spouse and kid Tier 4 dependent visa later next year.
My question is, whether my spouse and kid has to apply from india or in UK.
I have some idea , that my spouse can switch here as he is on Tier 2 ICT visa. But my kid as he is a Tier 2 ICT Dependent, does he need to apply from my home country only or can we make the switch for him here in UK?

Please advise

They can all apply within the UK.

Thanks for the reply. It's good to know my spouse and kid can apply from within UK.
As of my case, during covid 19 situation is it necessary for me to apply from my home country? Or is there any guidelines/provision for me to apply from here?
My current visa expires only next year. Please advice.

You already have an existing topic where you have already been advised about who can apply within the UK. You don't seem to qualify for that if your visa only expires next year!!
