Passport Validity for T4 Switch

Hello Folks,

I am transferring my dependents from T4 (expiry 03/2020) to T2 dependent Visa which has an expiry until 12/2021. Two of my kids will have their passport expired in 04/2020. Please advice if passports are required to be renewed before application launch or not?

Appreciate a prompt and VALID reply please.
