Unmarried Partner travelling to Ireland

Hello,

Would like some information about travelling to Ireland with my partner for a wedding. Do I need a Visa to do so or can I just use my brp when travelling?

It will depend on your nationality instead BRP. If you are a visa national to Ireland then yes (visa will be needed).

You should be aware that Ireland and the UK share immigration data. Your 13 years of overstaying in the UK might count against you and you could be refused an Irish visa.

For any Irish or Schengen visa you will need to declare any immigration breaches if the forms ask.

Ireland and the UK share data but I am not sure about the Schengen zone.
