I assume 2023 was meant.
If I understood your situation correctly, you first applied for a visa (and then you were legally in the UK), then cancelled your application (that's where your legal stay ended!) and you submitted a new application while having no right to stay in the UK.
Why couldn't you? They told me that i cannot continue with that application
syedyaz wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 4:07 pmHi,
What date did your last visa expire? July 2023
What date did you make a new application? November 2024
I previously applied for my visa application on May 6, 2023, and duly paid the necessary fee. The original application included three applicants: two adults and a child born in Pakistan. Subsequently, our family welcomed a new baby on May 17, 2023, which necessitated the preparation of additional documents. No, newborn does not necessitate applying for them immediately, you should have let the existing applications for the 3 applicants run its course. This wrong understanding is the start of the problem
Upon receiving the newborn's documents, I attempted to proceed with the existing application but discovered that I had misplaced the email reference provided by the visa office. Upon enquiry, I was informed that I could not continue with the previous application and needed to submit a new one. Accordingly, I requested a refund for the fee associated with the initial application. I was advised to withdraw the initial application to facilitate the refund process, which I was informed could take up to eight weeks.
Due to financial constraints, I was unable to afford the fees for extending the visas of all family members without this refund. I made a request to the University to advance me the fee that i'll reimburse back once i have it from UK visa office. Fortunately, I received the refunded fee in the mid of this month from the UK visa office, and I have promptly resubmitted the visa extension application on 15th November 2023, paid the fee in full, and scheduled an appointment that was done on 18th November, 2023.
Right now the issue that i have applied for the visa extension with a certificate of sponsorship that is no longer valid and i was unaware of this issue.
Regards
They/their above refers to who? What was the means of communication between you and they/their?syedyaz wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 5:28 pmHi,

I was going to request your consideration for this clarification. Actually, i paid the fee with my initial application that was stuck with the uk visa office. I couldn't afford to pay for the visa fee without a refund. They told me that i cannot continue with that application and should submit a new application. Upon their advice i withdrew the application. Once they withdrew the application, they asked me to submit a new application as soon as i could and that i did promptly. Do you think it wasn't in line with with what i was advised for?
Regards
Not sure anyone can hire you. I don't mean this maliciously, but you have no legal right to live and work in the UK.I am actively looking for a new job,
Your weren't speaking to UKVI staff. The 'help line' is manned by an outside agency, whose employees have very limited knowledge of the Immigration Rules. Regrettably, they frequently give callers incorrect advice and take no responsibility for the consequences.
You cannot do this. Your issues is that your employer has withdrawn sponsorship, which means UKVI won't issue you a visa based on the CoS the employer gave you. The CoS will be cancelled.syedyaz wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2023 9:28 pmHi,
I am going to request your consideration for this issue. I am being advised by someone that if i request UKVI to consider my previous application that involved 3 applicants and that had the sponsorship valid and request UKVI to take decision on that, it may resolve the issue. I have been told the moment i withdrew the application it caused all these issues. But if we request them no to take into account the withdrawal then maybe it could resolve the issue. What do you think?
Regards
I was told by the employer that they have withdrawn sponsorship as i applied for the visa out of time and the sponsorship letter is no longer valid. I made a request to the employer to provide me the renewed sponsorship letter but they refuse to do so.
No, you cannot. You are not permitted to have two applications at the same time with UKVI. You can also only use a CoS once. You have also already been told in December that you cannot have two applications pending at the same time.Is it possible to start a new application with an expedited procedure in parallel and once i have the visa withdraw the older one?
