Oh that's a bit concerning isn't it?Joel1986 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 12:28 am33 points. Non shortage. Obviously rejected. My employer has said something strange to me. They said the email said i couldnt apply in april and will need to in May.
I told them theyve probably misread it and it means the application wont be carried over into April and they need a fresh application.
Im right arent I? There is no reason why HO would say thay i cant apply in April.

It is very slow this time
Car allowance, high cost living allowance, pretty much any additional payments that you will continue to receive consistently with your base salary can be used.tej_san wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 9:56 amWhat if my employer is willing to raise salary in coming April application? I understand it should be within the range of salary published in Advertisement.
But, is there any restrictions in the range? Like, is it possible to provide wide range say 30,000-40,000 / year?
The published salary is considered as Gross or Net?
What are the additional allowances which can be added to make the Gross salary higher than Net? Any restrictions?
If an employer offers higher salary to get RCoS and later decides to reduce it after a few months, is it allowed?
Thanks. Makes sense, was wondering as lot of posts say that their employer agreed to raise salary far higher than what was offered. So, had a doubt whether they just do it for the sake of getting RCoS.Hopeful42 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 10:19 amCar allowance, high cost living allowance, pretty much any additional payments that you will continue to receive consistently with your base salary can be used.tej_san wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 9:56 amWhat if my employer is willing to raise salary in coming April application? Relocation costs, training costs, etc. cannot be used as they are only once off payments.
Your employer is not allowed to lower your salary once you start. The reason salaries usually include ranges are so you can go up in incitements through experience, appraisals, etc. Your salary can't be reduced. And they can't just put down a higher salary than you'll actually receive just to get RCoS otherwise everyone would do it.

But, any idea if the published salary in Job Ad is considered as Gross or Net.
Let's say it's published as 30k-40k. Employer offers 40k + allowances, making Gross around 45k? Is this okay? How about allowances like leave encashment or overtime?
This sounds just like my case! 60 GBP+, A+ rated, not a SOL and still under review! So good to have some company here!nitika85 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 10:49 amMy salary is 60£+ and my solicitor is saying that she can’t tell me my points until the restricted Cos is shared by Homeoffice. Can anyone please advice as even I am in the category of application still under reveiw? My employer is a A+ rated employer and img job is not under SOL.
Can you get in touch? I’m not allowed to place contact details here, and i’m unable to PM here. Maybe if you got in contact with the author of this article he could talk to you?Joel1986 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 21, 2018 12:28 am33 points. Non shortage. Obviously rejected.
