I told them theyve probably misread it and it means the application wont be carried over into April and they need a fresh application.

Im right arent I? There is no reason why HO would say thay i cant apply in April.

Yes usually they put on the refusal email that the application won't be carried over to the next month but you can put in a fresh one for the following month's allocation, etc.

I've never heard of them saying you can't apply the following month though - unless they know there are going to be so many applications in April they're trying to stop people applying.

That doesn't really bode well for any policy changes for April.

Any chance you can get your employer to send you the email?

Has anyone else rejected with similar points been told the same thing? Can you ask your employers for the rejection email?

Struggling to get RCoS for last 6 months!

I missed it in November due to HO's mistake who sent queries on incorrect email ID and my employer never received it.

Since December, not successful due to low score.

My employer has been complaining that we would have got our RCoS in November, if HO didn't make mistake.
But, not getting any satisfactory answer from HO in last 3-4 months.

Employer asked about Appeal or Complaint process too.

Has anyone any idea what can be done in this case? My employer is fed up now as they are trying for last 6 months and HO is not even considering our request to grant it due to their mistake.

I am an employer and have had our application refused with 36 points. We have been applying since December and it is extremely frustrating.

One thing I would recommend is that you ask your employers to write to their MP about the situation. Mine has contacted the Minister for Immigration and I am waiting for a reply. Pressure from businesses through their MPs might make a difference to Home Office policy.

I'd be happy to talk to the business journalist about this from an employer's point of view.

The RCoS data published on gov.uk every month don't give us the real picture.

It should also publish figures like how many applications were received above the cut-off score and how many applications were received below the cut-off score.

This will give the employer some idea where they stand and how long to wait.

Employers are frustrated for last 4-5 months and have no idea about the future trend.

Does your advertisement say "30k-40k inclusive"? or "30k-40k + allowances"?

How much will they be raising your salary? Because I remember you saying your salary last went through at 27k? If the salary went from 27k to 45k, that is very significant regardless of whether it was posted as gross or net pay, and it might raise questions. A new RLMT would certainly need to be carried out as the pay increase may have attracted suitable British/EU candidates.

This sounds just like my case! 60 GBP+, A+ rated, not a SOL and still under review! So good to have some company here!

This time the approval goes for 55 and plus points i.e. above 55k for non Shortage. We need to wait for the april panel. Due to very less number of CoS allocations available for March 2018, You may expect positive results in April 2018 and minimum 2200 allocations will be avialable.

I am surprised initially we had someone who was granted RCOS on 50 points and to the best i understand applications are processed in a batch run. Not sure whether HO is cherry picking this time?
