Hi,
I am bit confused about the continuous period calculation eligibility for ILR, my visa was granted on 2nd April 2015 and i had an extension of Visa last year till 19th April 2020. My query is since my visa was granted on 2nd of April 2015 i arrived in UK on 20th of May 2015. Will i be eligible to apply for ILR next year and if not can i extend my visa for another year since i am on tier 2 visa and i had read that the visa can be extended only for 5years. Hi

As i am applying ILR soon, i am having a few query related to Knowledge of English requirement. At the time of my Tier 2 visa i had done the self assessment PBS in 2015 and got required 10 points for the knowledge of English based on my engineering degree which was done in India. My queries are listed below

1. Do i again need to prove knowledge of English, since the online self assessment is not available anymore ?
2. Do i need to get the following documents now from UK NARIC to confirm that again that the degree is equivalent to a UK qualification and was taught in English. If i need to do this is bit complicated for me because it will take lot of time to get the letter and transcripts from my university in India and which will be quite tight for me.
3. Can i just do IELTS tests for UK Visas and Immigration instead of getting the degree certified by UK NARIC which is the easiest way, will it have any impact on my application.

As you proved your English for Tier 2 , you already meet the English language requirement at B1 level under KoLL. We just had an approval reported on the forum on the same basis too. LIUK is a separate thing

While filling the SET O form there is a question 'Have you previously lived in a country outside' i have lived in 2 countries apart from my county of birth for employment. My question is do i need to include the all the countries that i have visited for tourism or business as well and also do i need to provide duration of stay for my country of birth as well.

Country of your birth is fine. This is not about countries you visited

Hi,
As am applying for ILR ( Tier 2) fand part of the documents requirements i need certificates to be provided by UK NARIC

The Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS). This confirms the academic level of your degree(s).

The English Language Proficiency Statement (ELPS). This confirms the English proficiency level evidenced by your degree(s)

I notices that while creating the account for my wife on NARIC you need to state the immigration category and immigration route for which i have stated settlement was that the right selection as i couldn't find anything on home office website related to immigration category and route i am bit confused.

Can anyone let me know if that was the right selection.

I am applying for ILR and i am bit confused while i was filling up the SET O form, specially related to the immigration History Section. I am applying the ILR considering the qualifying period for ILR from the starting from the 28 days before my visa was granted. Timeline as below

Visa Granted from India (Tier 2) - 2nd April 2015
Entry to UK - 20 May 2015

Based on the guidance for the qualifying period for ILR i am considering 28 days from the visa issue date which makes me eligible for applying ILR any date after 6th of April 2020. My specific question is below.

1. When did you (the main applicant) first entered the UK? ( Should the date be 2nd of April 2015 or 20 May 2015, since i am calculating my qualifying period from 2nd of April )
2. Absence from UK ? ( Do i need to include the period from 2nd of April 2015 to 20 of May 2015 as an absence period from UK, which can be counted as 180 days allowable absence )

It bit confusing, as someone was saying that you need to enter the date as the visa date since that date your application is based on. Appreciate your help.

1. They are asking for the date you first entered the UK. Your qualifying period will be calculated by UKVI regardless of your answers on the form
