ILR - Set(M) - Correspondence

Hello

My wife is on a standard spouse visa - 5 years route. She is reaching that time now.

Firstly, on her card it states expiring 16 September, so what is earliest she can apply considering she got the card on the 5th October I believe(need to double check)

Secondly, due to different reasons, she has yet to take her B2 and LITUK( booked both) - I am wary that she may not pass them and there are not many slots left to take exam so may have to go down the flrm route again.

If we must go down the FLRM route, she has an SELT A2 from Trinity from 2017, which was used part of a successful application. It is SELT and she has a URN number which I can put in application form. Can this be used again as part of the FLRM again( again not many slots available, so not sure). Reason I say that We are getting conflicting information is on Gov website says valid for 2 years, but Trinity guys saying if used as part of an successful application before, then she can reuse.

She entered the UK in August 2015 - I believe August 12/13.

If she does not pass the tests this time around, can she reuse that SELT A2 trinity cert she used in FLRM Application in 2017? There are not many bookings left. So should I book another A2 exam just to be on safe side(in case B2 does not pass)?

The reason I say this is because I spoke to Trinity who said that if used in a past successful application you can reuse(as long as still on list and meets right test) however on the new english requirements pdf from gov - says the exams are only valid 2 years - so not sure if my URN number will be accepted.

Both said FLRM can be used again only if used in a previous successful application and if it meets the visa type criteria.

Pushing wife to get this LITUK and B1 out of way - but given only one chance - I feel unlikely

I am not sure what you are going for here. ILR has B1 level English requirement. You either satisfy it or not. She should apply for ILR and only attend the appointment when she has both her LIUK and B1 pass certification. Centres will soon open up

Zimba, wife has left English exams late and will only really get once chance at them.

The B1 exams are booked to August and her BRP expires in September. The chances of her passing are slim and on the basis she does not pass , we will have to do the FLRM.

Plenty of LITUK slots available...so will see what happens.

Unless there is a way to extend for English reqs which I don't think so.

It will be an excercise of scaremongering because A2 test holder can easily pass B1 test which merely longer by couple of minutes than A2.

Yeah true say but never know what can happen on day - I was saying on other thread - you only really get one chance with these applications, or is there any leeway, coz all exams booked up, if you dont get application right first time, will defo overstay right?

Hello all,

My wife entered the UK in August 2015 and then got her FLRM extension 2.5 years later.

on her BRP card it says expiring on 16 October, but she would have been in the country longer than 5 years

I would like to know can I apply to the 16th October or do I need to do within 33 months off getting my FLRM?

She can apply for ilr if she meets the requirements within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date she entered the UK.

The latest she can apply is the date her visa expires.

Marriage certificate will still be required despite was supplied previously. Regarding child certificate, no harm in attaching since you are attaching other tons of documents.

So I went to office and scanned every page of my wife's passport, new, old and bro/nadra card.

I however only scanned the main page of my passport and for property owner only did main page

Is that ok or must we do every page for them also?

Your passport as the sponsor only biomteric page required.

Property owner, passport not required for your partners ilr.

As the property owner is parents who I live with rent free, the documents required page says I need to provide a letter from owners, proof they own(deeds) and lastly asked for I'd documentation for them.

This is on application, just page before I submit.

If it was specifically requested to be provided based on the circumstances you have described then supplying it should be OK.
