Hi,

I am qualifying for ILR fine (HSMP 2 yrs + Tier 1 3 years), but my query is regarding my wife's eligibility for ILR.

I have come to UK in October, 2007, and since then I have been living here without any break.

My wife's stay in UK is as given below:

January 2009 - February 2010 = 13 months
September 2010 - Till date = 21 months.

But, for ILR, is it mandatory that WIFE/SPOUSE MUST be statying continuously for 2 YEARS?

Please could anyone clarify my million dollar query please...

Hello, Have you and your wife got ILR? Actually my situation is also same as yours. My wife stayed in UK initially 22 months, 16 months away then 19 months in uk. Total 3.5 yrs in uk but without continuous 2 yrs. Please provide your experience.

Hi ilraspirant and psTier1,

can you share your experience with applications?

I am in same situation where my wife will be almost 155-days outside UK when we apply for her ILR with 5-year period rule.

Hi, We didn't face any problem. No question was asked although I was ready with all cohabitation proofs. We applied together and received ILR last year. Thanks
