hello everyone, hope everyone is doing amazingly well. I am not sure if I have done anything wrong with my application vary process. Please take a look the application process below-
Applied FLR(IR) March 2017
No decision made
Applied for Set(LR) Jan 2018
Application fees were taken
BRP fingerprints were given on 21/1/2018
Recieving same email every 15th of the month saying my case is still under consideration.
Two of my friends were in the same situation. They have got their previous FLR application money back.
One of them has now got ILR as well.
The question is have is done anything wrong with the application submission process?
Please share your experiences and knowledge. Many thanks in advance.

That looks ok...can you provide some more detail timeline and did you complete your 10 years?

Timeline
First UK entry Jan 2008 general student till 2017 march. Requested for a 6 months visa extension ( FLR) based on a Mod job before visa expiry date in march 2017. Since then never heard from the HO. January first week applied for set (LR) by following the 28days rules.
Both of my friends got their flr fees refunded within a month and then they had their fingerprints. Whereas I have done all my my fingerprints etc still no sign of refund or acknowledgement of the variation. Hope this helps. Many thanks in advance.

When you applied Set(LR), did you explicit state in a covering letter that you are varying your existing FLR(IR) application??

Good morning all. Yes I have mentioned in my cover letter and requested to vary from FLR IR to set LR. Have applied on Jan 5th 2018. Entry was 26th Jan 2008. Many thanks.

Did you notify the FLR(IR) caseworker/department or just the Set(LR) department??
Where exactly did you send your ILR application?

Hi, i sent it directly to the ILR department using the address on the form. Did the same thing for FLR as well. Please note on the ILR form n cover letter j have also mentioned my previous application case ID many times as reference.

Dear all Experienced Members,
Good afternoon. I hope everyone is doing amazingly well. Kindly please share your experience or valuable idea rendering the following situation -
I have currently received my ILR based on 10 years of legal residency. However, I applied for FLR(IR) before my ILR application and then varied it to ILR. Now I have received all the documents that I enclosed with the ILR application as well the BRP card. However, I haven't received the other documents that I enclosed with the FLR(IR). I also haven't got any refund of my FLR(IR) fees or my IHS fees.
I need my valid passport which I previously enclosed with FLR(IR) application. Since then I have sent 1 document return request letter to Sheffield office and 1 letter to Liverpool office. Also tried the online service. No reply or response from home office.
Could you kindly please share your experience or advice with regards to this scenario. Many thanks in advance. Truly appreciated.
