English Language Requirement for UK Spouse visa

Post by Bahrainkhan » Thu Jul 04, 2019 3:12 pm

Respected members
Especially CR001 and Seagul need your advice.
In my previous refused application i just submitted Naric SOC but it was not enough. Now i received Naric visa and nationality service both statements(1. English language proficiency statement & 2. Academic qualification level statement)

1st statement says that the level of english langauge for the above degree course is considered to meet the requirement of CEFR level B1
2nd statement says my degree is comparable to UK bachelor degree

So please let me know whether this is fine or still i have to take IELTS A1 for my spouse visa application.

As spouse visa requires A1 but on my naric statement they have mentioned B1🤔

You don't need A1 test if you have both NARIC assessments.

B1 is a higher level than A1!!!

If it was issued under red route then should be fine.

Yes!!
Ok Thanks Dear CR001.
Means it will fulfill my English requirement?
But they have mentioned that it meet B1.
So is there any difference between A1 & B1,, as spouse visa requires A1.
Will there be any problem with this ?
Thanks for your expert opinion😊

Self employment / directorship is the most difficult route to meet the financial requirement where caseworker always want to see an extensive range of evidences. If something pertaining to self employment wasn't asked in first application doesn't mean that it won't be asked again. So prepare well. Case will be dealt on its merit despite with priority will be processed more faster but as usually with no discretion if something will be missing/uncompleted.

Thanks for your reply. Actually my sponsor employer is her father so UKVI requested for company financial documents for the last 12 months. We will provide all required docs this time hoping for positive response 🤲
