EEA2 10.11 How long have you lived in the UK?

Post by canuckUK » Sun Apr 13, 2014 7:42 pm

Hi,

I'm the Canadian partner of an EEA National and I entered the UK with a EEA Family Permit in November 2013.
I'm now applying for Residence Card using form EEA2.

Question 10.11 is:
How long have you lived in the UK?
Provide details of absence of more than 6 months.

Considering I previously lived in the UK for 2 years in 2003-2005, then went back to Canada for 7 years, now back in the UK since Nov 2013, how many years should I enter?
  • 5 months (counting only the current period)
  • 2 years and 5 months (counting all periods lived in the UK)
  • 10+ years and 5 months (counting all periods INCLUDING long periods outside the UK
What do you think?
Thanks.

I would think only current period is relevant.
